Job Description
Broward College is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of English to join their faculty. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in composition/rhetoric, creative writing, English, language arts/English education, linguistics, or literature, and a commitment to teaching. The position involves teaching, curriculum development, and service to the college and its community.
Requirements
- Master's degree in composition/rhetoric, creative writing, English, language arts/English education, linguistics, or literature
- Ph.D. preferred
- A high level of digital literacy and a commitment to teaching
- Teaching experience, including course preparation, review of course outlines, and preparation of course syllabi
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Ability to use technology to facilitate student learning
