CHILD CARE MONITOR I

Conduct planned activities for the Before and After School Care on-site program, ensuring a safe and enriching experience for participants. Requires a high school diploma, experience working with school-age children, and completion of certain child care training programs. Computer skills are also required.

Requirements

• Standard high school diploma or completion of an approved GED Testing Program
• Experience working with school-age children in a group supervision setting
• Completion of BASCC Comprehensive Child Care Components I and II or Florida Department of Children and Families training modules within the first year
• 10 hours of approved BASCC Child Care training per year of employment
• Computer skills
