The Warehouse Nightshift Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations, supervising nightshift warehouse employees, and reporting to the Warehouse Manager at our Louisa, KY location.
Requirements
- Supervise warehouse operations in accordance with operations policies, food/personal safety regulations, and company policies and procedures for personnel.
- Supervise employees assigned to the warehouse and do personnel evaluations, evaluate the performance of assigned personnel and oversee training as needed.
- Conduct disciplinary action as needed.
- Responsible for shift schedule to include: employee assignments, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignments.
- Supervise and maintain a safety program for all workers assigned to the warehouse.
- Reviews work processes, recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
- Work with Transportation department on getting labels processed and assigned to the picking crew and coordinate with Manager, VP of Operations and HR for appropriate staffing levels for the nightshift.
- Supervise and maintain shipping dock area to ensure product is staged and loaded properly for shipment.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
