Field Service Engineer, MALDI Biotyper

Bruker is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform Planned Maintenance on their MALDI Biotyper instruments at a field location in Atibaia, Brazil. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinating customer needs. The position is based in Atibaia and requires adherence to Bruker's quality standards and customer acceptance of maintenance or repair. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electronic equipment.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, biotech or chemistry (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years' experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or electronic equipment
• Valid Driver’s license
• Basic understanding of network interfacing
• Excellent communication skills
• General understanding of analog electronics, laser technology, high vacuum systems
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Responsibility for travel and passport maintenance
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
