Counsel

The Counsel will assist the Assistant General Counsel, General Counsel, and other attorneys in a variety of legal matters affecting the organization, including litigation, commercial matters, and compliance.

Requirements

• Licensing to practice law in Texas or eligibility to become licensed within one year
• Doctor of jurisprudence from law school
• 5 years of relevant legal experience
• Prior experience with complex commercial litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions
• Prior experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements
• Proficient skill level with Microsoft Applications
• Proficient skill level with Lexis and Westlaw
