Job Description
BuildOps is seeking a motivated Mobile Engineer to build and enhance their real-time, offline-first mobile application. The role involves contributing to backend Node.js services and sometimes web frontends, with a focus on quality, test coverage, and technical leadership. The company is transforming the commercial contracting industry with AI-driven tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Mobile Engineer
- Strong expertise in React Native
- Experience building real-time, offline-first mobile applications
- Experience developing and integrating backend services with Node.js, REST APIs, and GraphQL
- Solid knowledge of modern databases (MySQL, Postgres)
- Ability to write clean, well-tested JavaScript/TypeScript code
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest)
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, or related field
