Analytics Engineer

Bumble Inc. is looking for an Analytics Engineer to help build out its data infrastructure and modernize its data stack. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing creative solutions to balance in-house solutions and external tools, and will be passionate about driving data governance, quality, availability, and best practices.

Requirements

• Deliver scalable, clean, documented models that abide by best practices and frameworks
• Partner with data engineering, machine learning, and data science teams to translate technical requirements into non-technical outcomes
• Optimize reporting to reflect consistency in sources of truth and align stakeholders on definitions of metrics and dimensions
• Act as translator between business and analyst requirements and applications to the data model
• Be a data steward, responsible for governance, maintenance, and scalability of the data model
• Be an expert in data viz tool, error and data observability tooling, automation, ci/cd, iac, dbt, and warehousing (glue/snowflake/spark)
• Practise design thinking when architecting data models, pipelines, and automation
• Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to define and develop analytical solutions
