Surveyor Marine & Offshore - Groningen

Bureau Veritas Marine is an international classification society seeking a Surveyor Marine & Offshore to carry out inspections and surveys on board ships and during new constructions. The ideal candidate has a completed bachelor education in Mechanical Engineering or Maritime Academy and at least 5 years of experience as a seagoing engineer or maritime officer.

Requirements

• Completed bachelor education in Mechanical Engineering or Maritime Academy
• At least 5 years of experience as seagoing engineer, deck officer, or maritime officer
• Extensive technical skills and familiarity with International Legislation
• Experience as surveyor is preferred
• English and Dutch language skills in word and writing are a requirement
• Flexibility with working hours
• Experience in reporting
• Good communication skills
