Job Description
Business Wire, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a Platform Manager to modernize and maintain its infrastructure operations in cloud native environments.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering roles
- 3+ years in a leadership or management position
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Deep understanding of cloud security principles
- Experience with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming
- Familiarity with immutable infrastructure patterns
- Track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and mentoring engineers
