Senior Director of Procurement

Buyers Edge Platform is seeking a Senior Director of Procurement to lead the execution and implementation of growth initiatives for supply chain partners. This role focuses on developing and managing Direct deal strategies, leveraging third-party contracts, and optimizing revenue impact for BEP. The position involves building relationships and facilitating Buyer’s Edge Platform’s expansion. The role requires collaboration within a remote environment and focuses on improving procurement practices. The role is suitable for both in-office and remote candidates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• At least (7) seven years’ experience in procurement
• Experience with supply chain procurement contracts
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Broad knowledge and technical expertise in managed categories
• Ability to travel up to 30%
• Experience in Indirect and/or Direct Spend
• Experience in Leadership
• Knowledge of the foodservice industry
• Knowledge of Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs)
• Ability to think outside the box and challenge ideas
• Strong problem-solving skills
• High level of prioritization with ability to manage multiple priorities
