Lead and drive through the organization the improvement of environmental, social, and economic performance by developing and implementing sustainable strategies, assessing current impact, and advising on regulatory requirements and corporate social responsibility goals.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social, Environmental Sciences or related fields
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a similar role
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in offshore oil and gas industry
- Experience in Sustainability and ESG reporting
- Knowledge of frameworks such as API, IPIECA, IOGP, GRI, and TCFD
- Expert understanding of in country environmental and social regulations
- Experience working with local regulatory agencies
- Experience in Social and community project development
- Previous experience of managing Environmental Impact Assessments
- Fluent in French and English (oral and written)
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills
- Proactive and able to work independently, applying a structured and systematic approach
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in HSE management systems, safety engineering tools, and reporting software
