Advanced Development Technologist

At BWX Technologies, Inc., we are seeking a self-motivated technologist to help develop products, tooling, and manufacturing methods of the future. The selected candidate will work with a team of engineers and technical personnel to design and draft tooling concepts, oversee tooling fabrication, and develop advanced manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• 15 years of relevant manufacturing experience
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and component design
• Prior experience with CNC mills and other machining equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative design team
• Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail
• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance
