Manufacturing Engineer, Nuclear Components

BWXT Canada Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer, Intermediate to develop and improve manufacturing procedures, maintain quality-compliant shop documentation, resolve non-conformances, and support shop operations. The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing operations within the Component Engineering department, reporting to the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of machine guarding (CSA standards)
• Experience applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing, nuclear industry experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD 2D or SolidWorks 3D (or similar design software)
