As a Quality Control Technician at BWXT Canada Ltd., you will ensure compliance with BWXT's quality program requirements on Field Services projects by performing independent verification of quality-related inspections. You will work closely with Site Managers, Field Engineers, and Authorized Inspectors to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
- Post-secondary diploma in NDE or Quality Technology, or related education
- 3–5 years of relevant industry experience
- CGSB Level 2 Liquid Penetrant certification required; additional Level 2 certifications in other NDE methods are an asset
- CWB Level 1 or 2 certification considered an asset
- Strong NDE background with solid knowledge of inspection processes; familiarity with ASME Code preferred
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and radiation environments
- Willing to travel extensively (up to 70%) and work nights, weekends, and statutory holidays, with potential for extended hours (70+ per week)
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
