Job Description
This Senior Construction Manager role is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of construction projects from inception to completion. The role involves interface with regional and executive management, coordination of projects, budget management, schedule adherence, and adherence to project standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience with a commercial real estate developer, general contractor, or closely related company
- Proven track record of managing full project life cycles
- Previous estimating or preconstruction experience
- Aptitude to resolve performance bonds, insurance, union interface, and risk management issues
- Previous staff management experience (preferred)
- Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Aconex, Procore, JD Edwards, CAD and Primavera
