Lab Technician

Reviews logistics of additive preparation, mixing, and pumping and make recommendations to ensure fluids can be mixed and pumped as designed. Performs tests to verify fluid design and confirms cement slurry design and/or stimulation fluid design with field blends. Maintains laboratory equipment and performs non-routine testing for critical wells.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Minimum of 18 months in a position that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position
• Ability to handle complex mechanical devices
• Knowledge of relevant API test specifications
• Knowledge of laboratory testing equipment and ability to run all laboratory equipment
• Data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet and exceed the required deadlines
• Ability to ask questions, share ideas, and continuously learn and grow
