Mechanic

We are seeking a Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the oil field or construction industry and a strong mechanical aptitude. The position requires the ability to perform heavy manual labor, communicate effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Pass the Company's Drug Screen and applicable Physical Fitness Assessment
• Have an acceptable criminal history
• Qualify to be a company-approved driver
• Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Familiarity with automotive and rig equipment
• Basic skill in identifying minor repair requirements of related equipment
• Ability to remove and replace minor mechanical components
• A good understanding of preventive maintenance practices and procedures
• Ability to perform simple mathematic calculations of addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to communicate in English to the extent that s/he can understand verbal and written instructions as well as give verbal and written instructions and complete job-related documentation
• Three to five years of previous oil field or construction industry mechanic experience
