Job Description
Cadence is seeking a Principal Hardware Engineer to develop a scalable and secure monitoring platform and processes for their Hardware Emulation Cloud. The ideal candidate will have experience with chip/silicon development, emulation, and EDA, as well as cloud and cloud security practices.
Requirements
- BSEE with a minimum of 6 years of experience OR MSEE with a minimum of 4 years of experience
- Engineering experience with chip/silicon development, emulation, and EDA
- Demonstrated ability to operate and manage large-scale, enterprise-grade environments
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with cloud & cloud security practices and risk mitigation strategies
- Proficiency in leveraging analytics to forecast performance and optimize operations
- Experience managing relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), including database CI/CD and configuration
- Expertise in cloud security protocols (SOC2, ISO, etc.)
