Field Engineer

Field Engineer position at CAE Defense & Security in Arlington, TX, performing duties on integrated multi-computer systems, video generation and display systems, complex digital interfaces, high density cable/plug repair, software maintenance, and comprehensive troubleshooting and repair of general training device peripheral systems. The position requires a SECRET Clearance or the ability to acquire and maintain one, and U.S. citizenship is required due to U.S. Government contract requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in the electronics field or a two-year electronic technician resident course at an accredited technical institute and/or military technical training and equivalent electronics maintenance experience on equipment of similar complexity.
• At least 5 years' electronic maintenance experience and have demonstrated competence by satisfactory progressive performance in electronic maintenance on simulation systems of comparable complexity to those supported on this program.
• Experience in integrated multi-computer systems, video generation and display systems, complex digital interfaces, high density cable/plug repair, software maintenance, and comprehensive troubleshooting and repair of general training device peripheral systems.
• CompTIA certification in one or both of the following: Security+ and/or Network+
• SECRET Clearance or the ability to acquire and maintain one
• U.S. citizenship
