Project Manager - Strategic projects

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Strategic Projects and Operations Excellence team. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional projects, develop project plans, and manage budgets and resources.

Requirements

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria aligned with business goals.
• Lead project execution across all phases of the lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Evaluate project risks, manage project issues, develop mitigation plans, and identify and maximize return from opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with CAE's policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Resolve project work/scheduling problems by reprioritizing activities.
• Review project performance against milestones and budget.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring transparent and timely communication.
• Present project status, risks, and opportunities clearly and effectively to senior leadership.
• Facilitate collaborative decision-making and conflict resolution across diverse teams.
