Job Description
Caesars is seeking a Specialist Application Security Engineer to help build and maintain a robust application security program. This role focuses on integrating security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), automating security processes, and collaborating with various teams to minimize vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in automated code scanning, SAST/DAST/SCA, and CI/CD integration.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or Information Technology
- 5+ years of direct experience focusing on application security
- Deep understanding of application security principles and OWASP Top 10
- In-depth knowledge of application security principles and threat modeling
- Hands-on experience with security tools
- Strong experience integrating security testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in scripting languages and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Knowledge of cloud security principles
- Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP, GCIH, GCED preferred)
