Job Description
The Geo-Structural Engineer is responsible for identifying and implementing deep foundations and ground improvement solutions for projects. This role involves understanding geotechnical data, performing engineering calculations, and ensuring construction adheres to specifications and codes. The position is critical in addressing load capacity and settlement issues.
Requirements
- Determination of geotechnical subsurface materials
- Perform geotechnical engineering calculations and analyses
- Interpret soil boring and CPT data
- Apply advanced engineering techniques and value engineering
- Develop detailed designs
- Evaluate project-specific deep foundation pile driving and drilling conditions
- Slope stability analysis
- Interface with clients
- Determine ground bearing loads
