Job Description
The PM/Estimator works on a project from bid stage to award, followed by execution and completion. Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated project to ensure goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
Requirements
- Conduct a pre-job checklist to define scope of work
- Prepare technical and commercial approach to proposal cost
- Perform quantity take-off and price take-off
- Review material and labor requirements, equipment and production costs, performance requirements, and project schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Act as liaison between company, client and subcontractors
- Aggressive collection through invoicing on time, pursuing payment within terms of contract, and using best judgement with schedule of values
