Ingénieur en Mécanique/Mechanical Engineer

Calian Antenna Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to participate in the design, analysis, development, production, maintenance and upgrades of large antenna systems. The role involves working on projects related to large steel weldment design, drivetrain sizing and design, and small intricate mechanisms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering
• At least 3-5 years of experience with CAD software (Solidworks preferred)
• At least 3-5 years of experience with a variety of manufacturing methods (machining, welding, sheet metal, composite, etc.)
• Good analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of loads related to large dynamic structures
• Proficiency with technical documentation production
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
