The Solutions Consultant plays a pivotal role in driving successful sales outcomes by partnering with Sales Directors to understand Prospect needs, design and deliver high-impact solution strategies, and guide prospective Customers through every technical and functional stage of the pre-sales process.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in software pre-sales, solutions consulting, business consulting, AI-driven automation, or analytics
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and pivot during live Customer engagements
- Strong business consultative skills — able to uncover business drivers, link product functionality (including AI-driven features) to measurable business impact/ROI, and confidently tell the value story to both technical and executive stakeholders
- Solid technical acumen to navigate SaaS platforms in real time, configure product environments for POCs, and guide Prospects through functional workflows
- Knowledge of and hands-on experience with generative AI technologies (e.g., GPT-like interfaces, large language models, conversational AI)
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills — both verbal and written — with experience leading Customer-facing meetings
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deals, priorities, and deadlines without close supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with basic query languages, Boolean search operators, and data analysis (SQL a plus)
