Job Description
The Housing Specialist provides services to current and former foster care young adults seeking safe and affordable housing options with the ability to learn life skills. The Housing specialist will work with community partners to identify the appropriate placement that will allow for continued support, guidance and life skills personal development. The Housing specialist will provide 24 hour crisis management to youth participating in Extended Foster Care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a major in the field of counseling, social work, sociology, psychology, or a related social sciences and human services field
- Two years professional experience providing services to teens and young adults
- Screening through the Florida Background Screening Clearinghouse
