Canada Life is seeking an Account Manager to support newly accredited Portfolio Managers in a relationship management capacity, ensuring smooth transition of clients' accounts to IPC One.
Requirements
- Providing support to Portfolio Managers, branch, and internal IPC teams on all requirements to facilitate the transition of clients smoothly
- Reviewing all paperwork received for existing/new account opening through the applications used (Synergize, Broadridge)
- Coordinating with IPC Branch Manager (Compliance) to ensure that all requirements meet
- Consulting with back office to address trading inquiries and/or challenges and escalate issues to management as needed
- In-depth understanding and processing of workflows and procedures required to transition existing accounts to mandated/non-mandated accounts on the new platform
- Building and maintaining relationship with the Portfolio Manager and team through consistent touchpoints
- Ensuring professional and timely communication both written and verbal when addressing inquiries and/or challenges
- Functioning as the single point of contact for the advisors and internal business members, as well as providing an update on the progress: advancements made, next steps
- Maintaining accurate records to report weekly and monthly volumes, SLA, issues, and resolution
