Job Description
Join the Platform Engineering team as a Senior Specialist, Software Engineering & Environment Management, where we're modernizing how CMHC builds and operates software platforms. As Senior Specialist, you'll learn current model, design and evolve reusable infrastructure pipelines that provision, configure, and maintain CMHC's cloud environments reporting to the platform engineering manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years in DevOps, cloud automation & Software delivery support
- In-depth experience with Azure services
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience embedding security and governance into automation workflows
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills to guide cross-functional teams
