Job Description
Canada Post is seeking an on-call Post Office Assistant - Term to provide customer service, sort and distribute mail, and assist customers with various needs. The role requires being a motivated individual with strong communication skills and a commitment to Canada Post’s values. There is a preference for applicants residing within the community.
Requirements
- High school or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration
- Training or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment
- Understanding of general or post office accounting systems
- Physical ability to lift mail and perform other physical tasks
- Flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work
