Quality Technician

Cannon Industries is a leading sheet metal and custom weld fabricator seeking a Quality Technician to perform dimensional and functional inspections on purchased materials and manufactured parts. The role involves accurate measurement, documentation, and providing quality support to Manufacturing and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Perform dimensional and/or functional inspection on purchased materials and manufactured parts.
• Use technical expertise and inspection instrumentation.
• Verify conformance of materials/parts to prints, process sheets, and specifications.
• Perform initial, in-process, and final inspections.
• Understand basic Geometric Tolerance.
• Computer literate (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
• Attend to documentation completion.
• Provide continuous feedback.
• Suggest process improvements.
• Perform part and process related internal audits.
• Maintain QA Lab and equipment.
