Job Description
CannonDesign is seeking a motivated Electrical Entry-Level Engineering Intern to work on various projects, including new construction and renovation in educational, healthcare, sports, corporate, and technology sectors. The role involves designing lighting, power distribution systems, and fire alarm systems, assisting with technical documentation, and participating in shop draw markup. Interns will ideally be a part of the ABET program.
Requirements
- Design lighting, power distribution, communication systems, and fire alarm systems.
- Prepare technical design documentation.
- Review and markup shop drawing submittals.
- Recommend process improvements.
- Apply National Electrical Code (NEC) chapters 2 and 3 (basic understanding).
