Senior Software Engineer in Test

Cantina is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Test to shape the development of their automated test infrastructure. The role involves designing and extending test frameworks, writing automated tests, and mentoring other team members. The team is working on creating one of the most advanced platforms for real-time and streaming media in the world.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer or in a related field.
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Expertise with Mocha, TestCafe, Saucelabs or similar test automation tools.
• Expertise with GitHub, Jenkins, and other CI technologies.
• Experience developing asynchronous and multithreaded software.
• Experience as a full stack or web front end developer.
• Extremely strong written and oral communications skills.
• A strongly collaborative mindset, with a drive to teach and share knowledge.
• Ability to ramp up quickly on multiple platforms to troubleshoot and extend existing tests.
• Object-oriented programming and design skills.
