Job Description
This is an open position for a Data Science Director focused on the Finance vertical at a large, integrated insurance company. The role involves building a high-performing analytics team, defining best practices, and leading model development and deployment to drive data-informed decision-making. The client is one of the largest insurers in the United States.
Requirements
- Prior experience in P&C Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services.
- Advanced SQL and Python for data modeling, forecasting, and auditing.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI (Data visualization).
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
- Solid foundation in data science and analytics methodologies.
- Understanding of data’s role in driving innovation in regulated industries.
