Job Description
This role is for a FBS Risk Modeling Lead, responsible for managing and maintaining model risk framework for both financial and non-financial models. The position involves embedding best practices for model risk across enterprise and aligning with regulatory requirements. The company is a major U.S. insurer with over 19 million policies.
Requirements
- Develops and maintains the requirements for management of model risk.
- Manages and prioritizes multiple projects through efficient time management.
- Identifies weaknesses and provides oversight of issue remediation.
- Coordinates training to ensure team current on changes in catastrophe modeling.
- Prepares and delivers risk reports to committees and executives.
