Events Specialist (STATION Austin)

As an Event Specialist, you will work with the events team to plan and execute innovative events in Texas, including SXSW and Austin Tech Week. You will be responsible for supporting the Event Manager, communicating with departments, tracking deliverables, and vendor management. The goal is to provide a best-in-class event experience and value to partners, speakers, and attendees.

Requirements

• Passion for event management
• Outgoing and able to communicate with anyone
• Documentor with list-making and spreadsheet skills
• Problem solver with ability to turn chaos into systems
• Organized with ability to plan ahead
• Available to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Reliable laptop and smartphone for work
• Plan to stay in Texas for at least two years
