Capital Power is seeking a seasoned Trader to lead our activities in the Western U.S. power and natural gas markets. This position is well-suited for a strategic and results-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about optimizing natural gas power plant operations and advancing trading strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in physical and financial power trading
- Strong knowledge of delta hedging strategies, Western US power and gas term markets and risk management
