Job Description
We're looking for a Manager: Data and Analytics (Analytics Engineering) to join our team at Capitec. As the Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing and managing scalable data pipelines and ensuring efficient analytics operations to empower data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Over 5 years in data engineering or analytics engineering, including 2 years as a manager or team lead within an analytical team.
- Proficient in SQL and delivering complex analytical requirements.
- Managing senior and executive level stakeholders and influencing decision making at these levels
- Utilising data Pipelining tools such as Apache, Airflow, AWS Glue
- Data visualisation with tools such as PowerBI
- Big data frameworks – Hadoop/Kafka
- Github experience or Git
- Ideal: AWS experience
