After School Dedicated Aid Monday through Friday 3-6 pm SY 25-26

CLS is looking to hire a dedicated aid to work on one of our sites in NW DC. The dedicated aid will be assigned to a student to ensure their safety and help them with behavior, school rules and interactions with peers.

Requirements

• AA degree or higher
• At least 18 years old
• At least 1 year experience working with special education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and ability to handle various learning abilities
• Experience working with IEPs and 504 plans
• Good references from previous employers
• Must be willing to undergo a DCPS background check
• Must be available to start August 25
• Must be able to attend one training on the week of August 18-22
