Sr. Software Engineer, System

The Sr. Software Engineer, System position at Carbon Robotics involves working on AI and robotics products, designing and implementing robot side features and algorithms, and ensuring customer products are reliable and safe. You'll partner with engineering teams to build efficient robotic software and develop tooling to support high-performance robotics algorithms. Work with a fast-paced software team to drive decision-making through project planning, task delegation, and problem-solving efforts.

Requirements

• Experience as a System Software Engineer with 5+ years of programming in C++ and Python
• Proficiency with modern Linux development environments (e.g. bash, git, docker, etc.)
• Proficiency with web services (REST/GRPC)
• Experience with robotic and computer vision algorithms is beneficial
• General knowledge of observability tools (ex: Prometheus ecosystem) is a plus
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and a desire to work in multidisciplinary teams
• BS+ in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
