PRN Hospital Pharmacist

Working as a Pharmacist II at Cardinal Health, this role involves adjusting and dispensing medication to patients, driving compliant and efficient pharmacy operations, and supervising Pharmacy Technicians. The Pharmacist will verify physician orders, provide patient education, and manage compliance tasks related to accreditation, narcotics control, and inventory management.

Requirements

• Licensed, 'good standing' pharmacist in the state of Florida
• In-patient hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Flexibility to work various shifts and on-call as needed
• IV experience preferred
• Ability to hear, write, and speak clearly
• Strong customer service skills
• Manual dexterity required for occasional reach, lifting and holding of small objects
• Computer savvy to learn and perform successful operation of multiple pharmacy information systems
• Customer/vendor credentialing required
