Job Description
Cardinal Point Captains, Inc. (CPC) is seeking a qualified boat captain for vessel support services to the National Marine Sanctuary of American Samoa. This is a part-time position with no relocation required for the candidate. The role involves safe vessel operations, NOAA protocol compliance, and assisting with outreach activities.
Requirements
- Active USCG OUPV license or higher.
- 1 - 5 years of experience with operating boats, including marine science field operations.
- Experience on NOAA research vessels is desired.
- Obtain a NOAA Component Course certification within first three months of hire.
- Experience in load handling equipment.
