Job Description
Careem is seeking a Senior Data Scientist II to drive data-driven insights and improve the user experience of the Everything App. The role involves building AI models, leveraging GenAI, and working with a team of top data science talent within a fast-growing regional tech company. The team focuses on optimization, personalization, and the region's AI ecosystem.
Requirements
- 6 - 8 years of experience in data mining, predictive modelling, time series analysis, machine learning, Big Data methodologies, and transformation and cleaning of both structured and unstructured data.
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science.
- 1-2 years of industrial experience in personalization, recommendation or search is a MUST.
- Strong problem-solving and coding skills.
- Solid knowledge of AB testing, classic ML, and DL
- Solid understanding of recommendations, ranking, and retrieval.
