Job Description
Careem is seeking a Software Engineer I to join a next-generation program focused on building the Everything App for the Middle East. The role involves learning and implementing technologies like Java, Spring Boot, and AWS, enhancing backend systems, and collaborating within an agile team. They aim to train engineers in clean code, SOLID principles, and reliable systems to build applications for video, payments, and more.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design, data structures, and algorithms
- Skills to solve complex problems and write clean, maintainable code
- Passion for learning new technologies and building impactful products
- Ability to tackle loosely defined problems and adapt to fast-changing requirements
