Job Description
Career Guidant is seeking a Sr. Consultant – Mainframe Performance Expert to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Mainframe, RACF & ACF2 Migration Skills, z/OS Migrations/Upgrades, and Creating SYSRES Volume. The role requires expertise in Mainframe Catalogs, SMPE, USERMODs, Mainframe Storage, DFSMS, and Tape Devices, as well as experience with project management and analytical and communication skills.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes
- At least 3 years of experience in Mainframe, RACF & ACF2 Migration Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment
- Experience in z/OS Migrations/Upgrades and Creating SYSRES Volume
- Expert knowledge of Mainframe Catalogs
- Expert Knowledge in SMPE and USERMODs
- Expert in Mainframe Storage, DFSMS and Tape Devices
- Expertise in WLM, RMF/SMF
- Expertise in SAS/MXG, Omegamon, CA MICS and any other Performance Tools
- Analytical and Communication skills
- Planning and Co-ordination skills
- Experience with project management
- Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
