Charge Nurse- Team Lead - Nights

The Charge Nurse is responsible for assisting the Nursing supervisor in patient care and unit management. Responsibilities include supervising STNAs, administering medication, and directing the admission/discharge process. The nurse must be able to take direction in emergency situations and prioritize patient needs.

Requirements

• Valid Nursing license in the state where the facility is located
• Responsible for meeting the state required continuing education hours per licensure period
• Good physical and mental health
• Sincere desire to work with elderly
• Ability to perform non-professional duties
• Level-headedness and ability to take direction in emergency situations
• Ability to prioritize patient needs above own desires or judgement
