Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support and document IT infrastructure systems, comprehend and manage system architecture, build and maintain virtualized environments, administer Windows Server environments, and oversee backup processes. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of IT system components, proficiency in Windows Server administration, and experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and/or VMware.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure management
• Strong understanding of IT system components: servers, databases, APIs, networking, firewalls, load balancers, SAN
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including patching and security best practices
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and/or VMware
• Solid experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
• Experience using and managing infrastructure with Ansible or Terraform
• Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell preferred); capable of reading, writing, and executing scripts
• Working knowledge of system monitoring tools and techniques
• Experience with backup technologies and methodologies
• Proficiency with code repositories like GitHub or Azure DevOps
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues
• Effective communicator and team collaborator within Agile/SCRUM environments
• Availability for on-call support as required
