Cyber Security Manager

CARFAX is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Manager to lead and mentor a cybersecurity team, safeguarding the organization's information assets through design, implementation, and maintenance of security measures. The role involves identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies. The position requires 3 days a week in Columbia, MO.

Requirements

• Lead and mentor a high-performing cybersecurity team.
• Collaborate with leadership to align SOC strategy with overall cybersecurity objectives.
• Leverage expertise in threat intelligence, security monitoring, incident management, behavioral analysis, and advanced threat detection.
• Design, establish, maintain, and continuously enhance SOC capabilities.
• Aggregate and analyze security data using SIEM to identify threat patterns.
• Develop and manage SOPs, runbooks, and playbooks for threat triage and incident response.
• Oversee threat intelligence gathering and execute proactive threat hunting.
