Job Description
CARFAX is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer - Vulnerability Management to safeguard its organization's information assets. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance. Collaboration with IT and business teams is key, and requires 2 days in London, ON.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
- At least 3–4 years focused on vulnerability management.
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, etc.)
- Strong experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable Nessus).
- Solid understanding of vulnerability classification standards.
- Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.
- Understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and network security best practices.
