Job Description
The Assistant Manager, External Warehouse is responsible for overseeing the operations of external warehouse facilities. This role focuses on inventory accuracy, cost efficiency, and smooth order fulfillment, involving warehouse processes and regulatory compliance. The position aims to enhance warehouse efficiency and support customer needs.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with SAP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), digital tools and automation solutions.
- Experience dealing with bonded goods.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and work collaboratively.
- Effective communication and training delivery ability.
