We are searching for a Learning Game and Tutor Research Programmer to design and implement software applications and modify existing software to meet specific research needs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science and research computing systems analysis, and experience with development tools such as HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- One year experience in research computing systems analysis, systems programming, database analysis and design or research computing
- Skills in development with HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React
- Working knowledge of software version control and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering
- Experience with Unix-based operating systems, containerization technologies such as Docker, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Working knowledge of Unity is valued
- Successful background investigation
- Act 153 Clearances (Child Protection)
